Trial with seem-less bg

I don't have a seamless background big enough for a real person so I decided to test out some shots with one of my favorite anime girls, Rei Ayanami, instead using just printer paper.

Evangelion! I didn't know you watched that. I don't know what to look for here (lighting? shadows? coloring? seams?), but it looks very well done anyway.

Oh, it would help if I spelled "seamless" correctly. This "technique," if you can even call it that, makes it seem that the floor and the walls are one background, without any edges appearing. People like to use this a lot for fashion photography to place more focus on the model, rather than the background.
