Hidden "North" character in windows

I'm not sure if this is intentional or not (maybe you asians out there can correct me), but there a hidden "north" character in these windows. The Chinese character is "北" from "北京" as in Beijing.

Corners of roofs

I also loved the corners of the roof. My cousin actually made fun of me all the time for taking pictures of them, cause that's all I'd take pictures of.

For some reason, I'm so mesmerized by the roofs at Forbidden City. I think it's because of all the crazy detail and the amount of time and effort it takes for make one roof. I mean, look at how many beams there are! That's ridiculous!
